Who Can Be a Member:

UMATT is a student led design group. We only require members to be students here at the University of Manitoba. The only other requirement is being an active member of ASABE, which is the American Society of Agriculture and Biological System Engineers.

How do you become a Member:

During the first month of the school year, we regularly have recruitment booths set up in the Engineering Atrium here at the University–but we are always looking for new members regardless of the time of year.

Benefits of Being a Member:

Joining UMATT is a great opportunity for students to get involved in engineering activities outside the classroom as well as meet new people–people you may even work with at your future job! In addition, there are a wide variety of tasks that we undertake in order to prepare for the competition at the end of the school year, and we encourage everyone to get involved and build on their professional careers. Finally, we here at UMATT are about having fun!
